DOL AMROTH
Army List
See Christos for this Army
The Field Army can have a max. of 4000 men (@50:1 scale that is 80 figures). If defending any settlements of Dol Amroth lands, an extra 500 City Militia and 1000 Town Militia can be added (@50:1 scale 10 and 20 figs respectively)
Dol Amroth (Hill of Amroth) was a feudal principality forming part of the Kingdom of Gondor in the southern reaches of the realm. The city had a Tower which was called Tirith Aear. Its Banner is the Silver Swan. In the Second Age the area was known as the fief of Belfalas. Since the Elves left the area, there had been conflict with Umbar. The 15th Prince of Dol Amroth was killed by the Corsairs of Umbar. Prince Imrahil led a small force to assist Gondor when it was assaulted by the army of Mordor.
Many of the inhabitants of the principality were of Numenorean blood and were noted to be ‘Hardy and Numerous’, their Princes having an Elvish strain. They were tall, grey and dark haired. The primary settlement of the principality of Dol Amroth is the city and castle also named Dol Amroth, situated on a promontory in the Bay of Belfalas. The only other specific location in the immediate vicinity mentioned in the books is the ancient Elven haven of Edhellond.
The region ruled by the Prince of Dol Amroth was the great fief of Belfalas, also known as Dor-en-Ernil ("the Land of the Prince"), which encompassed a wider coastal area but did not contain other named cities or large towns within the scope
of the main narrative.

The forces of Dol Amroth also came from other regions of the southern fiefs, such as Lamedon, Blackroot Vale, and Ringló Vale, but those are separate fiefdoms of Gondor, not settlements of Dol Amroth itself.
